Geographically
Descriptive Keyword Domains for Sale
Why
would you want domains that
combine business and geographic keywords? Historically and currently,
it is our experience that domains containing
keywords rank highly (and sometimes at the top of the first page!)
of search engine results when people type in those keywords. Most
people don't realize this. For example, when you type in "clicks
on" in Google, look where our website appears. That is the
very reason we use www.ClicksOn.com as the domain for this website.
For
example, try entering the generic words "chicago
concrete contractors" in Google and see what listings
show up (or just click on the search links provided). You'll
see local listings of course, but space is very limited there.
Under that, you should see a domain name that closely matches
or is exactly matches the terms you searched for. Try "insurance
raleigh". Try "insurance
in raleigh" - same result. What about "auto
insurance raleigh". What do you see? Try going to
Bing.com and typing in "philadelphia
physicians" or the opposite: "physicians
philadelphia" - same result. In the first page of
results there should domain names showing up that either exactly
match or closely match the search terms. These are great and
often typical examples of how keyword-rich domain names perform.
Do your own experimental searches. We think you will agree.
Does
your business name have be the same as the domain name? Absolutely
not. Refer to the search examples above. The important thing
is that the website you are hosting has content that is relevant
to that domain name.
Generic
geographically targeted business domains can be like cash cows. The
words inside the domains are like search-engine magnets - and
many business owners are starting to realize this. Once they
host a relevant website, they can consistently rank highly
in natural search results - which is free advertising for you.
We have reserved
many such domain names so that our clients can have an opportunity
to make use of keyword-based domains. When people realize
the value of these domains - just like with real estate,
their
availability will diminish. In fact, these types of domains
are going fast. Once you have one, however,
it is yours to keep. We normally offer these to clients who's websites
we perform SEO services on - to further increase their rankings. However,
we will
also sell them outright.

How do I know a Domain I am purchasing does not infringe
on a trademark?
We avoid domains that are distinctive. Most domains we offer are intended
to be highly generic - containing nouns and geographically descriptive
words - usually not adjectives. Our research indicates that these types
of
domains
are
not typically
infringing. However, we suggest you do your own research or hire a
competent attorney
to make a determination. You can find out more information on guidelines
for what words can typically be trademarked here.
The buyer is responsible for using the domain in such a way as not
to violate other's rights.
